Windows 10: MSFT MINESWEEPER NOT OPENING

Using WIN 10 and have been playing MSFT Minesweeper for years. Yesterday it would not open, so I deleted and re-installed the App. also added it to task bar. still will not open !! goes to minesweeper page and then reverts to win 10 opening page .. have also tried to open from list of apps and get the same activity .. what have ai done to make this happen ?

Microsoft Minesweeper will not open

On one of my computers, my Microsoft Minesweeper will not open. I run Windows 10, v 1709 and have all recent updates. It said it can not obtain saved game data. Is there a way to repair this? Is there a way to uninstall and reinstall Microsoft Minesweeper?

 

Minesweeper and Mahjong unavailable in Store

Minesweeper and mahjong were taken off when I updated to Windows 10, how do I get them back? They were both listed under Microsoft games on my HP Windows 7 and now only Spider and Solitaire are listed.
