Windows 10: Last site pops up when I turn on my laptop

I don't know if this is a Windows 10 or Firefox thing but here goes.


On my laptop I have Windows 10 and I use only the Firefox browser. My problem is this. When I shut down my laptop at night and when I get up in the morning, I turn on my laptop and instead of my wallpaper coming up on my desk top where all my icons are, the very last site that I was at before I shut down the night before automatically opens up. In my case it is Facebook. I have looked at settings and other things but I can not figure out why this is happening. Yes, I do close all tabs before shutting down. Sometimes I get this pop up, "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window." That only happens when I leave a site then when I try to go back to the site, I get the pop up. This is driving me crazy. Any help is appreciated.

Here is a tip is you cant fix it, make it noticeable that you broke it...step on it *Wink "Oh my gawd, did i step on your lil ol laptop, im terribly sorry" Then she has no choice but to buy a new one.

 

My hp laptop wont turn on

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power
