  1. why does the windows 10 power menu always have "update" options right after I finish an update?

Every time I do an update (which I always do manually because I have the network claiming to be metered), I eventually get to the point where I click on the "Restart Now" button in the windows update screen in settings. Everything always seems to work fine, but after it has finished the update, the Power menu always has just "update and shutdown" and "update and restart" entries available. The update really did install correctly (I can see it in history).

If I pick "update and restart", the system restarts just fine, with no messages about updating or "do not power off", and when it comes back after this totally redundant restart the power menu is back to normal.

Does it forget to reset the menu if I didn't click on the menu?

    :)

  2. Naki Win User

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?

  4. why does the windows 10 power menu always have "update" options right after I finish an update?

    Windows 10 download speed issues

    Try this method:
    • First of all from Start Menu, open Settings (Type settings in the search bar and it will appear).
    • locate and select “Update and Security“.
    • in this window, Locate “Advanced Options”. Click on it.
    • In Advanced Options; Click on “Choose How Updates are Delivered“.
    • Turn off Updates from more than one place.
Your system will not work as a seeder for other Windows 10 users. It will give sudden boast to your Slow internet speed.
