Windows 10: Windows 10

So I have an i7 it's totally fine on windows 7 but as soon as I put windows 10 in it start to freezes up and coming up with errors ever were then told me I need to reactive my windows and shuts off so I tryed re-installing windows 10 seemed to work fine intill it updated then did the same thing so I thought OK something must be wrong with the hardware so I change it over to another i7 I had laying around and power supply it seemed to work for a awhile then updates messed with it again. is there something I am doing wrong or is it just a bug or something because it's fine with 7

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
