Windows 10: Taskbar size changed with last windows update and it is bad

Hi,


With the last update (and an unrequested restart during night that close all my workspace), there is a pretty silly change :


The size of the "small" icons in the toolbar of the taskbar has changed and increased from a tiny fraction.

Consequence : small icons can't be stacked on double height taskbar which is annoying and it disorganized everything.


How can I fix it ? I don't want to have triple height taskbar.

Yes I tried to change the icon size but there is only two options here (small or big icons) and I obviously don't want the big icon.


I used this organization since windows 7 and I don't want to change it so please don't ask me to change my habits.

Windows 10 taskbar icon changes size randomly

Thanks Greg. My bad, I should've stated initially that I'd enabled a quicklaunch tool bar on my taskbar. The icons in the quicklaunch are causing the problem. I've checked the graphics driver and it seems to be updated.

• I'm not using any tweaking software to customize windows. I'd reduced the size of caption buttons in windowsmetrics
• Scaling is set to 100%, unfortunately I cannot reduce below 100% (this is my need)
• Taskbar icons set to small size

Please advise..
