Windows 10: Issues with start, taskbar, and app icons.

I don't know when this started exactly, but my pc has been suffering from a few problems. Firstly, when I click (left or right mouse button) on the start menu, cortana, nothing happens. Clicking one of the app icons like edge or store brings up a text window that says class not registered. This same window also shows up when I try to click the "connect to a network" option in the network and sharing center. Alongside this, something is up with whenever I start up my pc. Instead of the normal appearance, with your lock screen image and the bar to type in your password, all I get is a black screen with a text box at the type left that says system32 login ui that needs me to click crtl+alt+del. Doing so then allows me to type in my password to log in. I have no idea what's going on, but I'm worried these issues might get worse over time; and I really need these to be resolved.

System Icons on taskbar

Are you referring to the clock system icon on the taskbar?

If so, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Click on the search bar on the taskbar.
  
• 
  Type system icons.
  
• 
  Under Turn System Icons ON or OFF, turn On the Clock and check with the issue.

• Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
• Does this happen only with the 3 apps you've mention or with other application also?
• Are you getting any error messages when you tried to click those apps with missing icons in your Taskbar?

How to remove an Icon of "eConnect by Harris School Solutions" on my Taskbar

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the "eConnect by Harris School Solutions"
from the taskbar and check if it helps.

• Right click on the icon "eConnect by Harris School Solutions".
• Click on “Unpin from Taskbar” the icon will be removed from the taskbar.
