Windows 10: Microsoft Chat Customer Support

The "QUICK" way chats are closed is preventing results from most issues discussed on this forum, I believe.

All the concerns with MS Chat I just read were from THIS MONTH, THIS YEAR... yet chat is closed with no definitive resolve???!!!

I just got off a chat session were the MS Chat employee asked for a remote connection as well... instead of giving me what I have gotten before.... code that is run in powershell to determine which updates are chosen & processed!

Once "Shaista" took remote control of my computer he quit responding to questions and took a very long time during which my "IP software" starting logging a large uptick in data communication (file transfer?)!!!

Now, since this seems to be an ongoing problem... lets get others to respond to this & DON'T CLOSE SO QUICKLY~!!!

Realtek audio broken with update, Also microsoft chat is broken

My audio is ruined with this last update, i've done every step and recommended action listed by microsoft and every suggestion on the first 20 pages of google search. Realtek is no longer showing up anywhere, like microsoft disabled it, microsoft chat is
also broken, requesting to speak with a human brings you to a couple options, all of which are broken and clicking on "chat" closes the window and nothing happens, this is absolutely disgusting, i've spent the last 4 hours trying to get my tablet, my audio,
and microsoft support to work.

Community support can fix most problems except for those that are related to the account itself. For instance, you are having trouble making a payment with the card, there is not much the community could do. It is possible that the card is not accepted.

Steps to contact chat support.

Step 1. Visit the site by
clicking on this link. On the top right corner, you will find a ‘Sign In’. Sign in with same account you use on your phone. Note : The link will take you to the US site. Even if you are from another country, do not worry about it.



Step 2. Select the phone platform – windowsphone 7 or windowsphone 8. This is very important. If you are not sure about your platform, go to Settings > About on your phone. This will you give you the platform details.



Step 3. Under ‘Category’, select Billing + Payment (Store), from the drop down list.



Step 4. Then select ‘Contact Us’



Step 5. You should now be in the page that says ‘Chat’. Press the big blue button to start chatting with a support person. Note - It is possible that the button might show up in red colour. Every time the author of this wiki tried
the chat support, the button is always blue.
