Windows 10: Itunes won't reinstall

    Itunes won't reinstall


    I was having issues with Itunes and was advised to uninstall it (which I did)


    Now I want to install it again, Microsoft store is telling me that I 'own' it, but won't give me the option to 'insiall' it (that option is greyed out)


    Even when I go into my library, the only option it gives me is to hide it!! (see below screenshots)


    HELP!!!!

    Cannot reinstall iTunes

    did you tried to reinstall itunes when you already rebooted your computer?
    or also tried to uninstall itunes in windows safe mode?

    Tried reinstalling after a reboot, same issue.

    Have not tried in safe mode. I will try later, just at work at the moment.

    Step 1:

    I suggest you to try uninstall iTunes from the Programs and Features.

    Follow the below steps to uninstall iTunes:

    • Press Windows key + X and click Control Panel.
    • Click on Programs and Features.
    • Select iTunes and click Uninstall.
    • Restart the computer.
    Step 2:

    I suggest you to install iTunes in compatibility mode and check.

    Follow the below steps:

    1. Right-click on the setup file of the iTunes and select Properties.

    2. Select Compatibility tab.

    3. Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.

    4. Let the iTunes install and then check the functionality.
