Help Me !!! can't delete Folders with Sandbox subfolder after upgrade to Windows 10 in D Drives

We recently upgraded from 8.1. to 10 in our company. Right after upgrade, most users laptops (DHelp Me !!! can't delete Folders with Sandbox subfolder after upgrade to Windows 10 in D Drives :) partition drive is getting hammered with creation of randomly named folders like ("2cb82a847721fa9204182bfb1c"), each one of them has sandbox as subfolder.

What i for done after searching here is:-

    - Open Task Manager -> CCMSetup.exe -> End Process

    - Open CMD as administrator and Run: C:\Windows\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe /uninstall

    - Delete the directory C:\Windows\ccmsetup\

The problem is when deleting these generated folders (about 50 folder) an error show:-

“You have been denied permission to access the folder

To gain access to this folder you will needs to use security tab”

Then it needs to change folder owner to be able to delete it.

I can’t do this for minimum 50 folder in only 1 laptop out of 120 laptop. Is there is any solution please

    :)

  3. Random files with Sandbox subfolder after upgrade to Windows 10

    Hi !

I have SONY VAIO x64 computer. I recently upgraded from 8.1. to 10.

    Right after upgrade,

My partition drive is getting hammered with creation of randomly named folders, each one of them has sandbox as subfolder. These folders are getting created at a brisk pace (every two seconds) and its impossible to keep deleting them.

Additional issues with this are - Battery life, continuously engaged harddrive and performance degradation.

    Any solution for this?

    Thanks in advance

    Deepak

Help !!!! Random Created Folders with Sandbox subfolder after upgrade to Windows 10 in D Drives

    Hi Mike,

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

Right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Paste this command into the Command window and hit Enter:

    C:\Windows\ccmsetup\ccmsetup.exe /uninstall

    Close Command Prompt

    Open Windows File Explorer:

    Delete: C:\Windows\ccmsetup

Delete all those folders that were generated with the long misc string names form your D Drive

Check to see if your system has stopped generating those folders . . .
