  1. Windows Update Caused PC Crash December 17th 2018

    Good morning,

As usual, Windows update slowed my computer down with an unannounced, unplanned update, on a Monday morning, interrupting productivity and eventually crashing the system, causing me to lose an estimated 2 hours of work despite saving at a recommended frequency.

To the luminaries at Microsoft: In a timely and gracious manner, please provide the following:

    1. A check made out to my consulting company in the amount of $190.00: Erudite Process Group, PLLC 4150 28th Ave NW Suite 140, Norman, OK 73072; this should cover the lost productivity that I was unable to bill due to Windows Update causing the failure.

    2. An explanation to my Argentina Clients on why their requests will not be fulfilled on time due to the previously mentioned Windows Update.

    3. A written apology explaining your indecency in interrupting my productivity and lack of due diligence in alert notifications of previously mentioned update, and why I, as a paying customer, should continue to support Microsoft products.

    Thank you for your understanding.

    -D

    :)

  2. December 17th Windows 10 update

Did anyone have problems with the Windows 10 update on December 17th, 2015? Specifically, I lost my internet connectivity on my desktop and 2 laptops(everything that had Windows 10 on it). It seemed like a major update because it took awhile. I tried the
normal steps I've used in the past to get my internet connection back. Finally what worked on all computers was to reboot my cable modem and then my wireless router and then all 3 computers. I don't know if Microsoft is aware of this or not but it would have
been nice to be forewarned of possible problems with this update.

Windows Update Caused PC Crash December 17th 2018

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
