    Bootmgr missing. No CD and F11 doesn't work.


    My work purchased Windows 7 for me to use at home. It was downloaded from Microsoft. I was also upgraded to Windows 10 (i think) via download from the Microsoft website. Therefore I have no CDs and I don't have the serial numbers of the Windows that was downloaded.

    How can I now fix my computer which is stuck at "Bootmgr missing. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to restart"

    BOOTMGR missing???

    yes it says the the BOOTMGR is missing when it goes to the boot screen and yes everything is set in the bios to boot from cd/dvd

    bootmgr has nothing to do with your cd drive...

    um i've had this problem at my shop before


    you basically have to low level format your hard drive...(usually with an install cd) if not have a friend of yours put it in there pc and do it for you. and than it should work
