Windows 10: error in watching a dvd

I want to watch a protected DVD .I have installed it on my lap top and received activation code from company .but when i open a video an error message is shown ( ....attempted to read or write protected memory.This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt) error 670.


please help me

Error in DVD player

How is this actually helping the OP fix their DVD issue? Watching the movies elsewhere does nothing to fix the DVD drive.

@allam447635, frustrations aside, we need a bit more info...

• Is it a DVD or Blu-Ray?
• How old is the drive?
• What video was this?
• It is a copied version or original?
• Did you try playing the movie again; did the same thing happen?

 

DVD Maker with multi core support?

This is just a friendly reminder that live or die is obviously talking about home movies he recorded himself and wants to convert over to DVD format so that his whole family can enjoy watching them.

Talk of piracy or copyrighted material will not be allowed.


I'm pretty sure nero has multicore support, but as its rather bloaty/expensive i'd wait and see a list of suggestions before jumping to it.

 

CD drive error

1) Close all open programs
2) Click on Start, Run, and type REGEDIT and press Enter
3) Click on the plus signs (+) next to the following folders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SYSTEM
CurrentControlSet
Control
Class
{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
4) This folder is the DVD/CD-ROM Drive Class Description in the registry. Look for any of the following names in the right hand column.

UpperFilters
LowerFilters
UpperFilters.bak
LowerFilters.bak
5) If any of the above keys shown in step 4 are listed, right-click on them and choose Delete
6) After deleting the keys, close the Registry Editor
7) Reboot your computer
8) Open My Computer and check to see if your CD or DVD drives have returned. You may also want to open Device Manager and verify that the yellow exclamation and error code on the CD or DVD drive is gone.

And it likely has something to do with the emulated drive you have listed there.
