Windows 10: 0% brightness is too much in a dark Room . How to configure minimum brightness on laptop...

I would like to know if there is a way to continue to lower the backlight brightness when the brightness slider is already on the 0%. Since I need a dimmer screen.


I'm using a laptop, so there's no physical buttons that control monitor brightness.


I have correctly installed latest drivers for video adapter. The brightness slider works as expected .

My concern is minimum brightness on my laptop is too much for me in a dark room, hence want to reduce it further.

Just curious ... it is somewhat of a hardware issue lol

At night what is better on your eyes in a dark room ... low level brightness or normal-high brightness on your monitor?

I would think low level brightness ... *Confused

 

Brightness stuck at 0%

so the new windows update came out and they remove the brightness changing button when u click on the battery icon on the bottom right cornor and the issue is when my laptop sleeps and i turn it back on the brightness stucks at 0, i went to the settings
and changed it to 100 and the screen is still dark as 0 so i dont know what happend and my friend also had this problem windows pls fix this it is very annoying

My 928 doesn't allow the brightness to be reduced to a minimum, it only has four options, low, medium, high, and auto.

Auto actually dims it the most in a dark room, even lower than 'low'. What Nokia calls low is very bright compared to auto, to provide a better impression than if they allowed it to be dimmer, even at the expense of battery life.
