09 FEB 2021 W10 Update - system is stuck at login/welcome page and does not respond to any input.


I cannot access my window10 at all. Just the picture with mountains but no input form for the password and it is dead to any input. Even the touchscreen it is anACER all inone core15 invidia geforce


Any advise.I amcompletely stuck for work

Login Failure with W10 Update

Same problem on HP machine = boots up but stuck on login page and no way that I can find to get past it...

 

w10 update stuck on "checking for updates"

I have a desktop running w10 pro that has windows update stuck on checking for updates. I left it on for 6 hours and it still is stuck. I tried to stop using net stop, but got an error saying the service could not be stopped. Services says the updater
is stopping, but seems to be stuck there also - cannot select stop. Any suggestions?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
