    Hello,I have the following issue:Infrastructure:LAN: 192.168.30.xClient: Windows 11 192.168.30.24 - shared printerHyper-V Server: Windows Server 2022 Domain member, 192.168.30.100Virtual Machine: AD Controller, Windows Server 2022 192.168.30.101Issue:When accessing the shared printer from the Hyper-V Server, everything works as expected.When accessing the printer from the virtual server, I can see the printer, but as soon as I try to access it, I get error 0x00000709.If I connect the printer on the Hyper-V Server and print from there, it works fine.If I then share the printer from the Hy

    Error 0x00000709 when adding shared printer

    Hi, I hope you are well.

    (error 0x00000709), This occurs if there is already a default printer set and configured or Windows does not want to configure the new printer at all.

    Press Win + R button combination to launch the Run utility, type in regedit and hit Enter.

    Once Registry Editor opens, navigate to the following key location

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows

    Under the Windows folder, double-click on the file named Device on the right-side pane.

    Add the name of your printer inside the Value Data

    I need clarification for the given steps from the link above that is this need to be configured for both PC which are PC that

    • direct connect to the printer via USB and share the printer,
    • and PC that wants to connect to that printer ?
