I'm making a post for my friend's PC, because I'm trying to assist him with a crash diagnosis. The dump is blaming the chipset driver, AuthenticAMD.sys for the crash, but that's not saying much. The crash happens somewhat randomly, which is why we're struggling troubleshooting. This is what we tried:Updated: Bios, Chipset Drivers Both MOBO manufacturer and Ryzen Master AMD.Reinstalled: Windows upgraded to 11 from 10, potential culprit programs. So please don't ask me to do a full reinstall of windows, we've already done that. We've accumulated some crash dumps, but to start, we've managed to

    :)

  2. Windows 10 crashing with bugcheck 0x124, blaming ntoskrnl.exe

The most common reason of 0X124 is a hardware fault. The resolutions are here for 0X124:

    BugCheck Code 124

Edit:The dump says PCI Express port has some issue. Also a 2013 driver for Network Connect VPN software by Juniper Networks

is outdated.Update it and follow the Resolutions/

    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR - Random reboots and 0x124 error

The DM log collectors throughout the thread have all of the mini dumps.
It's nice to have them in every dm log collector but they were almost all 0x124.

In addition there was a memory dump to debug.
Unfortunately this could not be fully debugged with the commands not all working.

Of the more than 30 mini dumps there were only 3 that displayed bugchecks other than 0x124.
    10/20 18:02
    10/24 12:18
    And the most recent dump.

Bugcheck 139 displayed Focusrite as the misbehaving driver.
    The other displayed bugcheck 101.
Philc43 suggested the network driver with bugcheck A.

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused 0x124 bugcheck Blamed on chipset drivers obviously not culprit.
