I have been having issues with my computer blue screening and then restarting while I am playing games. I have done everything I can think of from making sure my computer is up to date to stress testing my computer, but I am still having issues. The error code is 0x8000400000000002, and I have looked up and tried every fix I could find online, but I just can't figure out the problem; If anyone could offer any solutions I would be most appreciative.

    :)

  3. Crash Error 0x8000400000000002 Randomly Ocurring

    Hi-

I have an Gigabyte MB with AMD Processor that keeps crashing. I just removed everything and reinstalled the operating systems but the crash is still happening. I updated the BIOS and that helped for a month or two. I believe it to be hardware but would like to help in diagnosing.

    Steps already taken:
    • Updated BIOS
    • Removed all but was DIMM
    • Reinstalled OS

    Code:

I most often see these crashes when I am playing a game fullscreen. I have felt the processer section right after a crash and I can deduce heat is not a factor. I am not running any overclocking programs or anything. I have noticed that it never happens
when the charger is plugged in. However I don't think it's power related because it usually happens when I'm around 30%-50% battery.

Any help would be appreciated, as far as I know I'm a unique case and nothing has worked. I really don't want to wipe and start over.
