Windows 10: 0x80040154 New Print Dialog Box Error

In all my years of errors, this one is eluding me. This error only appears in the new print dialog box; classic ones like MS Word, Excel, and Adobe still work. I have tried deleting all printers, adding fresh drivers from manufacturer websites, the reg edits relating to this issue, the deregister and reregister keys, dism, sfc, and even waiting for a new build for Windows 11 24H2. The only solution I have found is to wipe the computer completely, or randomly running the steps above will resolve it with no rhyme or reason. After I upgraded my HP LaserJet printer two icons for the printer now appear in the print dialog boxes-a new one and an old one. Of course, you can’t print to the old one, but some of my programs default to the old one HP informs me this is a Windows 10
issue since the printer performs well.

When I check Printing Preferences for the printer, two printers appear in the drop down menu: the old one and the new one. Print Server Property lists only one driver.

How can I remove all instances of the old printer from print dialog boxes?

I have an issue with my WIndows Updates, I am getting error code 0x80040154 and all the sites I checked did not help.

Checked in the Registry and here is what is listed
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Services\Pending\117cab2d-82b1-4b5a-a08c-4d62dbee7782

I have tried everything to get it to the correct location without any luck.

SFC / DISM / ResetWUEeng / WinFixit / and the list goes on.

I also deleted it and broke my computer and could not restore it. Had to start all over again and still received the same error message.

Does anybody have any suggestions. Thanks.

the new Print Dialog Box just let me print once. If I try to call PrintDlgEx(PRINTDIALOGEX pd) a second time the app freeze and I have to start Task manager to close it. After Task Manager stopped the app, the Print Dialog Box shows up with an error notification. I even tried with Charles Petzold methods and the same problems happen. Will be and update soon to fix this and others problems reported ?
