Windows 10: 0X800423F4 error on both my computers W10 64 bit, normal fixes do not work

Both my wife's and my W10 64 bit computers have recently started failing at running backups.Started a while back after MS Windows updates.Tried many web suggestions and none work.What is a good non OEM software to do the same, or give a fix that actually works.

Error "the application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b windows 10 64 bit" fix

As the name suggests, I'm getting this error "the application was unable to start correctly 0xc00007b windows 10 64 bit". I don't know after which software installation did this error occur, but the only application affected by this is cheat engine 6.6, and unable to start this application. I tried some fixes like installing newer version of .net framework, directx and microsoft visual libraries. But nothing seems to work.

And BTW I'm using windows 10 Enterprise edition 64 bit. And this application was working normally before. But not now.

EDIT: According to Dependency Walker suggested by @magicandre, first of all dependency walker x64 bit version did not work on my x64 bit windows, so I used the x86 version.

Install W10 32 bit after 64 bit installation?

I upgraded my computer from W8 32 bit to W10 64 bit to take advantage of my installed 6 GB RAM instead of being limited to 4 GB RAM under the old system.

Now that I have upgraded, I find that running my 32 bit Turbocad program I run out of RAM memory when I render a drawing. I have since found out that W10 64 bit limits 32 bit programs to 2 GB.

Would the installation of a dual boot 32/64 bit OS allow me to run the program and access more RAM?

If so, I upgraded to W10 64 bit by uploading the free installation program. How would I install a 32 bit OS?

Hi there,

I have upgraded my W7 64-bit to W10-64bit some time ago and been testing W10 since then.

I had some random crashes and BSODs which I could not find the reason why as my W7 was running pristine.

Last week I had a crash for Visual Basic C++ Runtime Error and the file that crashed was my Chrome. Looking on Task Manager I then realised that not only my Chrome but all my other software installed are running on 32-bit versions.

I have then manually uninstalled chrome and downloaded the 64-bit version manually and installed and now it shows normal (no more 32-bit in between brackets) and I no longer get the pop up crash.

I wonder why is W10 installing 32-bit software by default if my OS is 64-bit? Will I have to manually uninstall every single software and force a manual installation of 64-bit? Is there a way to fix it?
