Windows 10: 0x80070006 error when trying to check for updates microsoft store and updates for windows

Windows 10 Home version 20H2

whenever i try to check for updates i get this error 0x80070006 it says "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x80070006" even though am not trying to install anything and the manual updates install perfectly things ive tried to fix with troubleshooter , restarting windows update services,uninstalling a previous windows update i have this issue for 2 months.

This error code "0x80070006" may have happened due to Windows Update running in its own process.

To change the status of Windows Update process, please follow these steps:

• Right click Windows icon at the bottom right side.
• Select Command Prompt (Admin)
• Type "sc config wuauserv type= share" without double quote.
• Press Enter.
• Reboot your PC then try to install Windows updates.

Please let us know the result after running the command.
