Windows 10: 0x8007000d - unable to update windows - issue with troubleshooting

Good morning,I have had a persistent issue with windows refusing to update and I have gone over a few troubleshooting steps already but continue to run into issues during the process. The first step went well and worked:But in step two is where I started having issues:I continued after this process because I figured if it didn't exist then no need to delete...But then for step three I ran into multiple issues such as "access denied" even though I am running in admin mode.As for the duplicate error, I did verify that the folder does exist already which is from my previous time of trying this pr

Method 1: I suggest you to first run Windows update troubleshooter and check if it helps you fix the issue.

  Click Windows update troubleshooter and follow the onscreen instructions.
  

Method 2: Try the following steps to run
DISM scan to check and restore system file corruption:

• 
  Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.
  
• 
  In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
  
  DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  

Check to see if the issue is resolved. If not, restart the PC.
