Windows 10: 0x80070015

how can i solve this error, me and a friend of mine are both suffering on this, we have the game pass but the automated disk is full of storage and we want to set it to our hdd's, this error pops-up.

i know i can get into safe mode and delete that app folder and stuff, but there must be another way right?

Windows 10 automatic backup error 0x80070015

I've had the same problem as everyone else in this thread. I found this suggestion (proposed by Sachin Venkatesh, MS, back in 2015) worked for me:

Follow the steps to check if the backup service is started.

• Press Windows + R keys, type services.msc.
• search Volume Shadow Copy and double click on it.
• Set the Startup type to Automatic.
• Click on Start in Service status and check.

Mine was set to Manual... I changed it to Automatic and the backup immediately started running.

Delivery Optimization is off and those registry keys don't exist.
I downloaded Windows Repair 2018 from tweaking.com. I'm not sure I have the right tool.
Item #17 is Repair CD/DVD missing/not working.
Item #26 is Set Windows Services to default Startup.
Were those item numbers the exact items you want me to run or just random numbers off the top of your head? Also, does that need to run in safe mode as the program tells you when it starts up?
The Windows Update MiniTool failed to install updates with the same error. (0x80070015)
There was a different error listed on the overall updated Failed list. 0x80240022)
