    Hey,

Got a weird one with this. If I use the rear USB ports to copy files to any destination (NAS, local Storage Spaces drive) it always works fine.

If I use the front panel USB ports, I get this:

Has anyone seen and fixed this before? I'm stumped. It can't be the USB drive as it works from the back. The back is a mixture of USB 2/3 and the front is USB 3 only, if that helps.

    Thanks

    :)

Check if there is a new version of the USB 3.0 controller driver for your motherboard.

    Hi,

I tried that over the weekend and it doesn't make a difference. Even tried newest BIOS. Just seems weird that the USB 3 ports at the back are fine, and I assume the USB 3 controller driver would cover both back panel connectors and internal header connectors.

Smaller files work OK through the internal header - it just seems to be GB+ files.

    Thanks.

Does the following somewhat applicable to you ?

    Error 0x80070070 – 0x50011

Occurs when your computer doesn’t have sufficient free space on drive C to install the Windows 10 upgrade.
Free up some space on drive C, and then run the upgrade again. Windows 10 needs 20 GB of free space for the upgrade.

    Hi, Idoodle.

    Have you tried following?

In Device Management, under Universal Serial Bus controllers (expand list), uninstall them one by one and (for each single uninstall) rebooting the machine, allowing Windows to reinstall the driver to see if that addresses the problem. By title on drivers you MAY be able to target more likely suspects first rather than just plodding through the whole list.
