Windows 10: 0x800703ee error upgrading to Windows 11

Whether I use Windows Update or the Application Assistant, I get this same error.Error message:There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x800703ee- Antivirus and external drives disabled- Chkdsk returns no errors- There's plenty of space on C drive as well as in the EFI partititon- C drive has been cleaned up- All drivers have been updated- All Windows 11 requirements have been metI'm not sure what else to try.

Did you solve your problem? I have exact same problem; Error 0x800703ee when windows 10 tries installing 1607. I've also tried your initial steps; no luck.

New on the forum, long time lurker.

So my problem. Windows 10 wont update. Error code "0x800703ee". Things i have tried so far:

• Cleaned and restarted Windows Update
• SFC /Scannow
• Followed this guide: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/w...d-8928bd7831be
• Tried updating via ISO
• Tried the" Win 10 Upgrade Assistant"

A while ago i had to recreate my EFI parition, perhaps it has something to do with it?
The last thing is to do a clean install, but such a hassel with all my hours of customization down the drain.
