    Unable to run Windows Update (0x80070424) Windows 10

    Since August 2nd I can't update my Windows and any other software installed via Microsoft Store due to error 0x80070424. When trying to install cumulative update from Windows Update Catalog, I get the same error number and a message about Windows Update
    Standalone Installer, saying that service does not exist.

    I've tried every DISM and SFC advices and none of them worked. In my services.msc list I don't have Windows Update listed.

    Laptop data: Dell Inspiron 7460 / Windows 10 Pro / Build 1803 (17134.165) from May 19, 2018.
