Windows 10: 0x80070570 error when trying to insert copied files

I am copying files from my hard drive on my desktop to a backup USB and continue to get the 0x80070570 error when trying to insert copied files, which now reside on the USB, into a new folder that I created on the USB. How can I get around this problem?

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one
