    It says it'll install the update but then it doesn't even work and it says error.

    Try to apply the update manually 0x80070643 Can't do a windows update and it's lagging my computer badly. ;) As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
    step by step guide.

    However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.
