  1. 0x80070643 error having 499 MB recovery partition on Windows 10

Hello.Trying to get the 22H2 KB5034441 update on Windows 10 I get the error code 0x80070643.I found documentation with instructions to increase at least 250 MB the size of the recovery partition to fix this problem. The recover partition has already 499 MB.Should I increase the size anyways? Is there another solution when the recovery partition size is greater than 250 MB?Greetings from Paraguay.Claudio Bogado Pompa.

    :)

  2. 0x80070643 error

I am confused about all the information I have found about error 0x80070643. One place it said to increase the recovery partition to 750 Mb. I shrank the main partition by 250 Mb to create an unallocated partition between the main partition and the recovery partition. I then ran diskpart to extend the recovery partition but got an error message that said the recovery partition could not be extended. I don't know what to do next.

    KB5034441 fails with error 0x80070643.

Having read many posts on this error, I created a new recovery partition, double the size of the previous one.

Below, see details of partitions on Disk 0 - partition 4 is the new recovery partition.

Disk 0 is now the selected disk.

0x80070643 error having 499 MB recovery partition on Windows 10

    Recovery Partition

    Well I solved the problem.

Nevertheless, in Windows Explorer it showed a drive letter, therefore, it needed to be fixed, especially since that letter was reserved for a server.

I do not see your point. I did not refer to a 128 MB Partition. Looking at the drive in Windows Explorer I was told that it had 498 MB and was called Recovery. In the details the partition 1 (as shown above) had 499 MB, was a Recovery partition, and had
drive letter "D" assigned to it, and I could remove it with the respective command.
