Windows 10: 0x80070643 Error on installing latest Nik collection

I was trying to install Nik collection 4.0 (latest version) the following error is being displayed.I have tried to download another copy of the nik collection but same issue. I am on Version 21H1 Build 19.043.1023

Since the change to W10, PE9 still functions but it cannot connect with Nik and an error message pops up - 'Could not complete Silver Efex command because of a program error'.

This might have occurred due to compatibility issue.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall both PE9 and Nik and see if this helps in resolving the issue.

Hey

Try to apply the update manually As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
step by step guide.

However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.

A guess might suggest something related to .NET framework. Try repairing it using the repair tool mentioned here:

- do you mean restoring failed to complete, or that it completed successfully, and you still had the problem?

If the latter, the problem may be unrelated to this debloater script.
