Windows 10: 0x80070643 Problems installing this update - RETRY

Don't give me your stupid general answer. I have 6 Windows 10 computers not related to each other or not networked. They all do the same thing when trying to do an update. I have a brand new router that works great. This is an issue with Windows Update not my hardware or software.

Try to apply the update manually As suggested by Microsoft. I just wrote a
step by step guide.

However be sure that the update itself is downloaded and that the installation part is failing, and not the downloading part.

After running Windows Update Troubleshooter I see the following:

"Windows Update Components Must Be Repaired" = Fixed

"Service registration is missing or corrupt. Reset Service Registration" = Completed

I then followed instruction under your next suggestions:

and read and followed the thread:

I was unable to complete step 3: "Ren %systemroot%\system32\catroot2 catroot2.bak" As it said it was in use.

I did complete all other steps.

I restarted the PC and retried Windows Update, and it downloads them, then fails again. Same error 0x80070643
