This is a critical piece of software for me and my business. I'll attach the error log at the end. I've combed through many forums, watched videos, and precisely followed all instructions. I haven't been able to access the installer in the registry to un-DisableMSI, so I'm hoping that's I'm missing something there. I am needing to install a driver update for my network adapter and believe a malware is giving error "This installation is forbidden by system policy. Contact your system administrator." and not allowing me to install from the flash drive

 

Installation forbidden by system policy

The device in question is a SanDisk 16gb usb drive. It works ok on this Win 7 computer, and it works ok on another Win 10 computer, but on one Win 10 machine I get this message, "The installation of this device is forbidden by system policy."

What's the fix?
