Windows 10: 0x800f0922

I've had a windows update pending for months now. It is a regularly scheduled update. However, every time I try to update, it fails at about 94%, saying we couldn't complete the update. 0x800f0922 is the error code I receive when I go back to the windows updater. I have tried enabling all of my .NET. I have turned off my firewalls. I tried using a third party app called Reset Windows Update. I am at my wit's end. Nothing seems to work. I have tried many different solutions. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Windows refuses to update - Error 0x800f0922


Windows won't update, i ran sfc as an Admin in CMD and no issues.

• Adobe is activated on Edge but still doesn't work, could this be related?

Checking .NET Framework

One of the possible culprits behind this problem is .NET Framework. So, one of the ways to get rid of the Windows 10 update error 0x800f0922 is installing the latest version of .NET Framework. Moreover, you should activate
it in Windows Features. You can do those by following these instructions:

1. On your keyboard, press Windows Key+S.
2. Type “Windows Features” (no quotes).
3. Select ‘Turn Windows Features on or off’ from the results

1. Select the options related to .NET Framework.
2. Click OK to save your selection.
3. Restart your computer

Error 0x800F0922 when enabling media player in windows 10 1607

Running Windows 10 (1607) - Media Feature is listed in the windows features - when I check to enable I get error 0x800F0922. .Net 3.5 fully enabled without errors. Need to enable Windows Media Features for some of the other applications to work. I have
already tried various things including reinstalling 1607 - does not help. Desperate to get this fixed. Any suggestion is much appreciated.
