Windows 10: 0x80240439 error

Today I tried to update my windows but i came up with this problem. I tried to fix it via youtube and forums i tried this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=HoLQS9_Asxs , but when I tried to name the SoftwareDistribution folder it did not allow me to so i tried searching forums on how to change it eventually I found it so you could change it via command prompt. So I did this Type cd\ and press ENTER.Type net stop wuauserv and press the ENTER key.Type ren c:\windows\SoftwareDistribution softwaredistribution.old and press the ENTER key.Type:&

If you are referring to the two ideas you suggested, I tried them but didn't have any luck. That user's case is different to mine, as it tells him that he's up to date, but mine gives me the 0x80240439 error. If it is any help, I also get error -2145123271 in Windows Defender Protection Updates.
