Windows 10: 0x8024500C and 0x800f081f

windows uptade does not work. There are no buttons, alerts or anything else that appear in the Windows Update tab in the Settings app other than "Something went wrong".

Following the instructions above.

The first two steps worked.

The RestoreHealth step cam back with the message listed below.

Error: 0x800f081f
The source files could not be found.

Use the "Source" option to specify the location of the files that are required to restore the feature. For more information on specifying a source location, see Configure a Windows Repair Source.
The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

** I also setup an new account and logged in with that account.

Tried to download a app and it came back with the same 0x8024500C error.

One of the possible reasons why you're getting an error code 0x8024500C is due to corruption in some system files. If the given steps on the thread didn't work for you, we therefore suggest that you re-register Windows Store app. To do so, follow the steps
below:

• Click the Start Menu.
• Select Command Prompt. (You may be asked for User Account Control permissions, select
  Yes.)
• Copy and paste the following command, and press Enter key;

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"

Once done, you may restart your system. The issue that you're facing with Windows Store app should be resolved now.

Hi,

As soon as I try and download it comes up with the error. It says Try that again Error - See Details

The Error Code is 0x8024500C.

I have asked IT to do all of the steps that Andre Da Costa detailed and it still does not work.

Any thoughts?
