    Windows backup and Restore error: 0x81000001

    I ran another backup with those options unchecked but, it resulted in the same error code again. (0x81000001)

    BIOS error codes

    So I have motherboard with installed small LED screen, which presents BIOS error codes.

    Where can I find a list of those errors. And I don't mean beep codes, but the "number" codes.

    Ex after installing sound card, the motherboard startup fails with the code 15.

    0x81000001 error code

    Error: "Backup location: Local Disk (J0x81000001 error code :) Error code: 0x81000001", while performing backup and restore on Windows 10

    I am trying to make a "Backup and Restore (Windows 7)" for Windows 10, to an external drive and when it gets to 100% done there is an error "Backup location: Local Disk (J0x81000001 error code :) Error code: 0x81000001" every thing is good until 100%.

    The options given are:

    Try to run backup again.

    Change backup settings.

    I've tried both and I still get the same error.
