    Camera was working fine 2 weeks ago - now I am getting this error


    Have followed all the steps in troubleshooting without any success.

    Webcam not working on windos 10 (nor found in Device Manager...)

    I've tried the scan for hardware changes option but that was in vain...

    when I open the camera app it says error code 0xA00F4244<NoCameraAreAttached>

    any suggestions?

    I am also getting an error code 0xA00F4244 and the suggestions do not help, I have no camera listed under device manager under sound, video, and game controllers anymore. Videochat via facebook no longer work and either does the Camera app. I have an MSI
    GE272 2QD apache Pro on windows 10 home, version 1709. Please address this problem. Thanks.
