Windows 10: 0xc0000001 error and usb boot not working properly

My laptop ran out of battery and shut down while it was in sleep mode. When I turned it back on, the error 0xc0000001 appeared, with the following options :Retry Access Recovery environment Access Startup settingsAccess UEFI microprogramRetrying or going to the Startup settings ends up to the same error Trying to go to Recovery environment ends up to a similar screen, with error 0xc000000f, same options and same results. I tried to use a usb bootable flash drive using Windows Media Creation Tool and Rufus. In both cases it seems to boot on the flash drive, but I only have the Windows 10 logo a

Windows will not boot, Error code 0xc0000001

I am having some issues booting up my desk top. I have not run this computer for about 2 years and am trying to get it running again. As far as I'm aware I have Windows 8 Pro installed onto the Hard Drive, I have the install CD and the key at hand. On the
boot up screen when the Windows logo pops up it just freezes as well as the loading dots. I get the error code 0xc0000001 and I cannot get Windows Recovery to open up whether by the 3 reset method or by the F11 option on the boot screen. I have downloaded
Windows 8.1 on a usb and attempted to boot from it but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions on what the issue might be?

Tried Andre Da Costa suggestion - at the end of the installation process comes the message "Inaccessible boot device" and it reloop again to try to boot.
