Windows 10: 0xc0000005

um getting 0xc0000005 for QT5 and for some other softwares......epic launcher and etc. this is such a pain in a%%, yeah yeah i tried everything on the internet,from forums, YT videos and etc.... and I tried even multiple versions of win 10 tooooo, and i got good progress in win 10 pro 2020, and everything worked perfect and after 2 days i got the same error again, i got a new pc too its saaaaaaaaaame, say something practical ....

Hi Samuel,

If running your antivirus software to scan for malicious programs does not help, I suggest disabling Data Execution Prevention. It's a built-in feature on Windows for protecting your computer. Some programs may not be compatible with this feature and opening
the app or game will cause 0xc0000005 error.

To disable it, log in using an admin account and follow these steps:

1. Press Windows key + R, type sysdm.cpl and press
   Enter.
2. Click the Advanced tab > Settings button.
3. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
4. Select Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
   
5. Click Add and open the problematic executable file/game.
6. Click OK.

Win 10 / 0xc0000005 - for most progs

Just used my Win 10 and my browser (Yandex.Browser / Chromium) hung for 2-3 mins, than crashed.
　

I tried to start him again, but:

I understand how difficult it is, when the device or app won't work in the way it should. 0xc0000005 caused by incorrectly configured system setting. I would suggest to perform SFC tools. SFC command is to restore corrupted files. Follow these steps.

- Click on "Search" from the taskbar

- Type cmd (Command Prompt)

- Right click on Command Prompt from the search results list.

- Click Run as administrator.

- When Command Prompt launches, type the command: sfc /scannow

Next, perform DISM tools. DISM can be used to service and prepare Windows images.

- Click on "Search" from the taskbar

- Type cmd (Command Prompt)

- Right click on Command Prompt from the search results list.

- Click Run as administrator.

- When Command Prompt launches, type the command below. Enter each of the command:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
