Windows 10: 0xc0000135 error when trying to open or update apps

Whenever I try to open TablePlus or Docker I get this error. This error also pops up when trying to update some apps using the winget tool.Error message:The application was unable to start correctly 0xc0000135. Click OK to close the application.I followed the steps at https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/0xc0000135-error-when-opening-most-applications/7db10be2-66fb-4e5d-b553-8fa524bb2124 but they did not help.What else could I do? 0xc0000135 error when opening Discord

I recently did a disk cleanup and now I can't open Discord and some other programs, they just show a "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000135). Click OK to close the application.". they didn't work for me.

Hello,

i have win 10 64 bit installed on my new intel core I5 PC -
i did a clean install on a 256 gigs SSD.
this morning i got this message when i opened the pc;







Then it auto restart itself - and i get this screen;





* no matter which option i choose. it won't load windows...
Any ideas ?

 

0xc0000135 error when opening most applications

This problem started about 1 week or 2 ago; I have a Dell XPS 13 9460 computer running Windows 10.

Whenever I try opening many applications, including Steam, NordVPN, Microsoft Word, Spotify and more, I get this error, "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000135)".

I have tried doing a clean boot, but it doesn't work and I have tried doing system restores but they say they were unsuccessful.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?
