I have a Lenovo desktop computer with a 256 GB SSD.When I booted the computer the other day I got the error message 0xc0000225I thought I might as well just reinstall the computer, but first copy over the profile folder. It appears that the C:\Users folder is completely gone. So I Google and find out it might've been hidden for some reason, follow the instructions to unhide folders and system files, but there is still no Users folder. What happened here? Can I get it back on an SSD even or is it gone forever?Edit: Also - 256 GB SSD and Explorer shows the full size of the partition, however if I

  2. 0xc0000225 C:\Users disappeared

I have a Lenovo desktop computer with a 256 GB SSD.

When I booted the computer the other day I got the error message 0xc0000225

I thought I might as well just reinstall the computer, but first copy over the profile folder.

It appears that the C:\Users folder is completely gone.

So I Google and find out it might've been hidden for some reason, follow the instructions to unhide folders and system files, but there is still no Users folder.

What happened here? Can I get it back on an SSD even or is it gone forever?

Edit: Also - 256 GB SSD and Explorer shows the full size of the partition, however if I check the total space of the files it just counts to ~60 GB (checked with Space Sniffer adminsitrator rights) and some 170 GB "Unaccesible space"

    Any advice? Thanks!

    0xc0000225 C:\Users disappeared

The solutions does not work, I have no option to reset the system.

"Keep your user data"... there is no user data, that's the problem. The Users folder does not exist anymore.

    Any more suggestions?
