Windows 10: 0xC004F074

I tried to activate windows but when i entered my product key it says:
We can't activate windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server.Make sure that you're connected to your organization's network and try again.If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organization's support person. Error code : 0xC004F074

• You need to explain what you are doing when this error code appears [and paste a picture** of the error dialog because details in it might help explain things].
  
• I think this error is probably generated when you are trying to activate Windows 10 so you need to explain the circumstances [new computer with Windows 10 preinstalled by the computer maker / computer upgraded from Windows 7 / ...]

** Pictures

• You can take pictures of the screen or selected parts of it - see

• It is then always worth using MS Paint or another graphics application to "crop" the picture so it is showing what you need it to show - if you just show the whole screen then people might not be able to see the details clearly.
• You can paste pictures into your posts by clicking on the picture icon in the editing toolbar that you can see while writing posts -

• Always explain what you want people to notice in any picture you post.

I have the same problem when I trying to activate my windows , tried these steps and it doesn't resolve the issue ( error
code : 0xC004F074)

Hello,

I bought my HP laptop with windows 10 Pre-installed on March 2016. Recently a message started poping up saying

"YOUR WINDOWS LICENCE WILL EXPIRE SOON"

You need to activate windows in your settings.

And in the settings a message shows " Your windows expires on 08th August. Contact your system administrator to get a product key. ERROR CODE : 0xC004F074 "

I tried to activate it with product key I got when I purchased the product as suggested by 'https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10738/windows-activation-errors' . But it shows that Windows
can't be activated with this product key. Go to settings for more information. Error Code : 0xC004F074

Please help as to what I need to do to activate my product.
