    0xC004F211 after BIOS update on B760M motherboard, Windows 11


    Hi! I updated bios on my Gigabyte B760M Gaming X DDR4 motherboard unable to reactivate windows ever since. I'm getting 0xC004F211 code. I have purchased a license from the online store a while back, which worked before. The troubleshooter doesn't seem to help and I restarted the PC a few times. What should I do?

    After Bios flashback to my motherboard Gigabyte B760M D2H DDR5...I am unable to activate my windows even after logging into microsoft account

    I am facing this strange issue of being unable to activate my windows even after logging into microsoft account. The only thing I did was bios flashback to my motherboard Gigabyte B760M D2H DDR5 for updating bios as I was having SPD issues with the RAM. I didn't change any hardware. Motherboard , processor and RAM along with internet connection all are the same.

    I am getting the dreaded "Windows reported that the hardware of your device has changed. Error code: 0xC004F211" error after updating the BIOS on a Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX motherboard.

    I have tried various possible fixes such as those discussed in this

    Without any success. Not I have not reinstalled windows and I do not want to go down that path. Nor do I want to have to buy a new key.

    Any suggestions on how I can get this resolved ?

    And are there any permeant fixes to this problem in the pipeline as it seems to be a common issue ?

    How to activate windows 11 back after a bios update???

    0xC004F211 error. I have the UK version of windows and no bitlocker backup(dont need it) and no information how to fix this issue.

    I have strix b550-f wifi motherboard from asus, just installed latest bios update available.
