Windows 10: 0xC00CE556

Hey guys, I was installing some mysql programm and power in my house went off and then after 10 minutes when the power was again on I turned my pc on and continued to just do what I usually do but discord wasnt working and the setup of this mysql programm wasnt working and also when I deinstalled discord and tried to run setup it also didnt work.

I tried already fixes with machine.config etc. and im clueless im having the error screen but its in Polish however I will post it anyways.

Windows 10 error 0xC00CE556

After installing Windows 10, when opening (as desktop is being displayed) I always get:

Error parsing

C:\\Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config

Parser returned error 0xC00CE556

How do I fix this? I know very little about computers, please make the fix as simple as possible.

 

Parser returned error 0xC00CE556 - Quicken 2017 Premier

Within Quicken 2017 Premier for Windows, I am receiving an error pop-up message as follows:

Error parsing

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\config\machine.config

Parser returned error 0xC00CE556

Both Quicken and Microsoft keep pointing the blame onto each other, leaving no help to get the issue resolved.

Anyone else in the same boat? Solutions?

Windows 10 error 0xC00CE556

After installing Windows 10 I have tried installing CyberGhost VPN, and SQL 2012 and every time I try to install I get:

Error parsing

C:\\Windows\Microsoft.Net\Framework\v2.0.50727\Config\machine.config

Parser returned error 0xC00CE556

I have tired the following solutions:

1. replace machine.config with machine.config.defaul in C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\CONFIG

2. sfc /scannow in admin command promt

3. Clean Boot

4. Attempt install with different user

None of these methods have worked. I need to run SQL 2012 for a class I am taking and I really cannot afford to do a clean install of Windows 10. Does anyone have a solution aside from the ones already
mention?
