While updating windows 10 1903 to Windows 10 22H2 directly using an iso file everything goes well but at the end installation stops at 30% and windows undoes all the changes and the error windows says as above. and also after searching on the internet I did run the command reagentc /infoand it says:Windows Recovery Environment Windows RE and system reset configuration Information: Windows RE status: Disabled Windows RE location: Boot Configuration Data BCD identifier: 7aa893a8-6793-11ea-b11b-bbd5052329ef Recovery image location: \\?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk

Error "0xC1900101 - 0x30018 - Error in the installation in the phase FIRST_BOOT with an error during the operation SYSPREP

During multiple attempts at installing windows 10 upgrade from win 8.1, the process freezes at 32% total installation and 6% on the "drivers and features" section. I've waited over an hour with no change in either percentage number.
Error Message: Error "0xC1900101 - 0x30018 - Error in the installation in the phase FIRST_BOOT with an error during the operation SYSPREP

After reboot from the freeze, it just puts my OS back to Win 8.1. I've spent hours on phone with Microsoft with no solution. Do you have any suggestions?

I have win 7 ultimate on lenovo laptop.

I had chat with two Technical expert and they took control of my laptop using remote access to correct error and install update on my lenovo laptop. It failed every time. I also studied other suggestions from post as well as google search. None of them works.

I get following error.

0xC1900101-0x30018, The installation failed in First_Boot phase with an error during SYSPREP operation.

I had tried updating my self and also using media creation tool.

I have used clean Boot. disable antivirus and firewall. Also ran reset as suggested by Microsoft Technical expert.

None is working.

Two time I was successful in connecting with Microsoft Answer Tech chat after about 3 hour of wait.

and it did not work

Can any one help solve this problem?
