Windows 10: 0xc1900101 ERROR when updating from windows 1909 to 22h2

right now nothing is showing up in my windows update.I've tried the troubleshooter for windows update, as well as typing in the commands to cmd.I've tried the online updater but that had no luck.I'm stuck with the code : 0xc1900101DID the iso offline updater but I am hit with a : "We couldn't install Windows 10This code is : 0xC1900101 - 0x20017the installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during BOOT operation.

Unable to upgrade one of the system to Windows 10 Update Error 0xC1900101 - 0x20004

Thank you for the reply. I read both of those threads already.

1. Resetting BIOS. I flashed BIOS to the latest version. Currently running default settings. No change.

2. Andre da Costa brings up a list of reasons. For error 0xC1900101-0x20017 he says refer to error 0xc000021a.

2a. Regarding his troubleshooting steps for error 0xc000021a. He says to wipe the drive and switch from NTFS to GPT. This is incorrect. If this was true, then no one could update from Windows 7 to Windows 10 without a clean install. Beyond which, I updated
my first desktop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 when it was running Windows 7 on NTFS.

2b. Regarding his additional troubleshooting steps for error 0xC1900101-0x20017. He has a number of suggestions, such as disabling peripherals. I tried all of these for both .iso and USB installs. No luck.

Any other suggestions?

 

Windows manually updated to 22H2 - Windows update says it is not showing Error 0xc1900101-20017

Hey, I had my pc updated to 22H2 version manually as the windows update failed to install it automatically. Settings --> System, shows that the version is 22H2, however the windows update says that the install failed (for weeks now) the error code is Error 0xc1900101-20017. I am not sure if the windows update is the one having issues or the update is truly not installed?
