Windows 10: 0xc1900223

Error code 0xc1900223 lets you know that there was a problem downloading and installing a Windows Feature upgrade.


If you see the 0xc1900223 error on a Windows version newer than 1809, which came out Fall 2018, Microsoft has stopped you from getting the latest feature update as your system configuration isn’t ready for this update right now.


There is nothing you need to do. When the feature update is ready for your system, you will be able to upgrade Windows.

I have just reinstalled Windows, I had problems with updates before and though the fresh install would help but I am still getting errors.

I have tried twice to update to the Windows 10 version 1930 version. I have a desktop Dell XPS 8900 with an intel I7. It just hangs up for hours. I have updated the Dell and MS software. What kind of problem does Error 0xc1900223 relate to. I boot
from the 1 TB primary disk, but keep most data on a second internal 4 TB disk.
