Windows 10: 1.5 GB just to turn off one light on a Corsair M65 Gaming mouse?!?

So I got this Corsair M65 because of its ease and comfort of use. RGB lights on the mouse are a distraction. To turn off the "logo area" LED, I had to download and install Corsair's iCue software, which weighs in at 1.5 GB. *Redface Yes, disk space is cheap, but on an SSD it is not infinite.

So is there a simpler way to just turn off this one LED? I don't have any other Corsair products installed right now, except for an old but still very good AX 850 power supply.

I have a Razor Naga and a Corsair M65 PRO (both gaming miouses ( the naga is for mmo's where as the Corsair is for shooters)). I am wondering if there is any way to leave them both connected but have windows assign each mouse to different applications.

 

Does Windows 10 have mouse lag issues in games? Is Windows 10 truly a better choice than Windows 7 for gaming?

ive got some serious mouse lag on games such as skyrim, postal and arma 2 when running on windows 10. im using the corsair m65 rgb. does this mouse have any issues regarding that?
