  1. 1.7 gb difference between c: drive disk usage and Treesize usage data?

    Let me explain what happened

Some days ago windows and Treesize were showing same amount of disk space used. Then for some reason, I had to use a restore point. After that restore, this thing emerged which is taking 1.7gb space and is invisible to treesize. I never thought anything could be invisible to treesize. My treesize always runs at administrator privileges. I can't find anything on internet.

Although 1.7 gb is not crazy high amount, it is always good to know where your disk space is going.

    My questions are:

What are the things which could go undetected by treesize(administrator)?

Is there any fix to this?

Do I even need to fix anything (Maybe windows will clear it automatically over time)?

100% Disk usage while copying data from USB drive

Oddly Winrar wouldn't open it, but 7-zip would....

A very quick look suggests - perhaps surprisingly- itunes.exe is using a LOT of disk I/O, as is Defender

However WPR also reported this on opening the trace:

You might check to see if not allowing Defender to scan USB devices helps.

Don't know why itunes is involved here- any ideas?

    Data Usage

The highest usage is a torrent client for 30 GB, the browser for 17 and the system for 1 GB in the last 30 days. The rest are under a gig.

No one can get to the internet from my computer. Wifi is password protected and I checked with my provider and they told me the devices they see attached and they are mine. However, they cannot tell me which device used what data.

Bitddefender is newish and there is some correlation between its install and my data usage. However, I don't see a data backup option in the program and the network tool only shows 45 MB of usage for it in the last 30 days. Does anyone know if there is a possibility it is the Bitdefender somehow?

Also, as you suggested if anyone has further tools, that would be helpful as well. Thanks.

  4. 1.7 gb difference between c: drive disk usage and Treesize usage data?

    Data Usage

I'm trying to find some data usage statistics, from settings I can get to the data usage, it shows around 45 GB for the past 30 days over wifi, when i enter to see the specifics, it only shows about a dozen apps, highest usage of 15 mb, and a total much
less than 1 GB. How can I get the real data usage statistics?
