Windows 10: 1 account can’t log in, others are missing.

I’ve ended up having to make another admin account from cmd, it turns out that any new accounts ai make are also missing, so what is causing this is not what I suspected before (the previous account had the name of the new account when it was created and was changed later, making me believe that the new account’s sign in was broken and the older one disappeared because it was registered as the same account). So now I know something else is wrong, leaving me with the only option is being to re install windows. Before I do this has anyone got any other suggestions?


Also, if I do have to reinstall, how can I copy my data on my boot partition over to another? Normally this is self explanatory but in my case I can only access cmd and my efi shell (I know about the cd command in efi, however ive had no luck trying to use the efi in the past)

Note: it can’t in because of an error (see picture) not because I don’t have the password (the account is set to have no password).

Remove account


I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region

We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.

Step 2:
I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

1. Go to Settings.
2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
3. Select add someone else on this PC.
4. Enter a user name and hit next.
5. Click on Finish.
6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.

Step 3:
It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.
