Windows 10: 1 of 3 PCs will not connect to my L2Tp/IPsec Softether VPN

On my home network I setup a Softether VPN server L2Tp/IPsec with Pre-shared Key on a Raspberry Pi4. Using an older Dell Windows 10 Laptop using windows built-in vpn client I can connect and access my LAN locally and remotely using an iPhone for my hotspot.I have another local PC running Win 11 Pro on my lan and have setup the windows vpn client and can login although I have not tried this remotely.So I assume this is not a server side issue?However using a newer Dell Win 11 Pro laptop I cannot connect and I get the message that there is a security issue preventing the connection.The Del

VPN Issue when connecting to L2TP / IPSec connection

I am facing issue when connecting VPN using L2TP/IPSec with the preshared key since the latest Microsoft update.

Is any way to connect to the VPN? or Microsoft is brining any patch for it?

 

Error: 788, when connecting to L2TP VPN

Hi there, recently I got this error when connecting to "L2TP/IPSec with certificate" VPN. I'm not sure what cause this.

I have already follow some of this steps with no luck :

• Adding AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule
• Restarting both IKE and IPSec services
• Allowing both CHAP and MS-CHAP v2
• Reset network connection
• Connect to different provider
• Re-adding VPN settings
